Advanced Playback —Continued
Notes:
• Random playback may not work with some discs.
• Random playback cannot be used with the Memory
Playback function.
•You can’t use the [Search] button during random play-
back.
• During random playback, the remote controller’s nav-
igation [ ], [ ], [ ], [ ] buttons and number buttons
cannot be used with the disc navigation window.
• The Random Playback function can be combined with
the Repeat Playback function.
With the Memory Playback function, you can create
your own memory list of up to 32 chapters, or tracks.

To cancel random playback, use
the [Random] button to select
Off.
Memory Playback

Press the [Memory] button.
MEMORY indicator appears in the dis
-
play.
The Memory List window appears on-
screen, as shown.
The top row ( ) is used to enter title/
folder, and chapter/track numbers.
Items in the memory list are numbered.

Enter the title/folder, and chapter/
track numbers of the item you
want to add to the memory list.
Use the remote controller’s Left/Right
[ ]/[ ] buttons to select the parame-
ters, and use the number buttons to
select the number.

Press the [Enter] button.
The new item is added to the memory
list as item 01.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more
items to the memory list.
New items will be added to the memory
list as items 02, 03, and so on.

To play the memory list, press
the Play [ ] button.
The Memory Play Setup window must
be open when you press the Play [ ]
button.

To stop playback, press the Stop
[] button.
While playback is stopped, you can
delete the memory list by pressing the
[CLR] button.
While playback is stopped, you can
cancel the Memory Playback function
by pressing the Stop [ ] button again.
