Back Left 0.0dB
Select a value between "-12.0dB" to "+12.0dB" (in
0.5dB increments). A test tone will be output each
time you change the value. Select the desired level.

The setting is not displayed if "Speaker
Configuration" - "Back" is set to other than "None"
and also "Back ch" is set to other than "1ch".

In the following cases, the setting cannot be
changed:
"Speaker Settings" - "Powered Zone 3" is set to
"Yes", and ZONE2 and ZONE3 are set to on.
"Speaker Settings" - "Front Speakers Type" is set
to "Normal“ or "Passive Subwoofer" is set to "Yes",
"Powered Zone 2" is set to "Yes" and ZONE2 is
set to on.
"Speaker Settings" - "Front Speakers Type" is set
to "Bi-AMP".
Back 0.0dB
Select a value between "-12.0dB" to "+12.0dB" (in
0.5dB increments). A test tone will be output each
time you change the value. Select the desired level.

The setting is displayed only if "Speaker
Configuration" - "Back" is set to other than
"None" and also "Back ch" is set to "1ch".

In the following cases, the setting cannot be
changed:
"Powered Zone 3" is set to "Yes", and ZONE2 and
ZONE3 are set to on.
"Front Speakers Type" is set to "Normal“ or
"Passive Subwoofer" is set to "Yes", "Powered
Zone 2" is set to "Yes" and ZONE2 is set to on.
"Speaker Settings" - "Front Speakers Type" is set
to "Bi-AMP".
Surround Left 0.0dB
Select a value between "-12.0dB" to "+12.0dB" (in
0.5dB increments). A test tone will be output each
time you change the value. Select the desired level.
Subwoofer 1 0.0dB Select a value between "-15.0dB" to "+12.0dB". A
test tone will be output each time you change the
value. Select the desired level.

The setting cannot be changed if "Speaker
Configuration" - "Subwoofer" is set to "None".

The setting cannot be changed if "Speaker
Settings" - "Height 1 Speakers Type" is set to
"Not Use".
Height 1 Right 0.0dB
Select a value between "-12.0dB" to "+12.0dB" (in
0.5dB increments). A test tone will be output each
time you change the value. Select the desired level.

The setting cannot be changed if "Speaker
Settings" - "Height 1 Speakers Type" is set to
"Not Use".
Height 2 Right 0.0dB
Select a value between "-12.0dB" to "+12.0dB" (in
0.5dB increments). A test tone will be output each
time you change the value. Select the desired level.

This setting cannot be changed in any of the
following cases.
"Speaker Settings" - "Height 2 Speakers Type" is
set to "Not Use".
"Speaker Settings" - "Front Speakers Type" is set
to "Bi-Amp".
Height 2 Left 0.0dB
Select a value between "-12.0dB" to "+12.0dB" (in
0.5dB increments). A test tone will be output each
time you change the value. Select the desired level.

This setting cannot be changed in any of the
following cases.
"Speaker Settings" - "Height 2 Speakers Type" is
set to "Not Use".
"Speaker Settings" - "Front Speakers Type" is set
to "Bi-Amp".

In the following cases, the settings for "Level Calibration" cannot be changed:
The speaker is set to "No" or "None" in "Speaker Configuration".
Mute (MUTING) is set.

The test tone is output at the standard level for THX, which is 0dB (absolute volume setting 82). If you
normally listen at volume settings below this, be careful because the test tone will be much louder.

If you are using a handheld sound level meter, adjust the level of each speaker so that it reads 75 dB
SPL at the listening position, measured in C-Weighting and slow reading.
