First Time Setup—Continued
If you connect a component to the AV receiver’s analog
multichannel input, you must assign that input to an
input selector. For example, if you connect your DVD/
BD player to the MULTI CH input, you must assign it to
the DVD/BD input selector.
Notes:
• To listen to the component connected to the
multichannel input, press the [Audio] button and
select the “Audio selector” (see page 125).
• This procedure can also be performed on the AV
receiver by using its [Setup] button, arrow buttons, and
[Enter] button.
If the impedance of any speaker is 4 ohms or more but
less than 6, set the minimum speaker impedance to 4
ohms.
To use bi-amping, bridging or passive subwoofer, you
must change the “Speakers Type(Front)” setting. For
hookup information, see pages 21 to 23.
Notes:
• When bridging is used, the AV receiver is able to drive
up to 7.2 speakers in the main room.
• When bi-amping is used, the AV receiver is able to
drive up to 7.2 speakers in the main room.
• Before you change these settings, turn down the
volume.
