to open the BIOS setup window, the Boot Menu window, or the System Recovery
window.

Connect to external devices through compatible cables.
CAUTION:
Do not connect ac power adapter to this connector. This connector can not be
used to provide power to the computer.
4. Always On USB 3.1
connector Gen 1
Used to charge the USB-compatible devices when your computer is off or in sleep
mode. This feature can be enabled or disabled in the Lenovo setup utility. See “Enable
or disable the Always on USB function” on page 16.
Note: If your computer is not connected to ac power and the remaining battery power
is very low, the Always On USB 3.1 connector Gen 1 stops charging the connected
devices.
5. HDMI

Connect to a compatible digital audio device or video monitor, such as an HDTV.
