e. Click Intel Optane Memory and then follow the instructions on the screen to enable it.
Speaker assembly
Prerequisite
Before you start, read Appendix A “Important safety information” on page 57 and print the following
instructions.
Replacement procedure
1. Disable the built-in battery. See “Disable Fast Startup and the built-in battery” on page 37.
2. Turn off the computer and disconnect the computer from ac power and all connected cables.
3. Close the computer display and turn the computer over.
4. Remove the base cover assembly. See “Base cover assembly” on page 38.
5. Remove the speaker
1 first and release the speaker cables 2 . Then, remove the speaker 3 and detach
the connector of the speaker assembly
4 .
6. Attach the connector of the speaker assembly 1 . Install the new speaker 2 in place first and route the
speaker cables
3 . Then, install the speaker 4 .
7. Reinstall the base cover assembly.
8. Turn over the computer. Connect the ac power adapter and all disconnected cables to the computer.
