• Title: R2 AK Ring in Use

• Event Code: 0x08
• Max. Inc/Cyc:. 1, Register Restrictions: 0-3
• Definition: Counts the number of cycles that the AK ring is being used at this ring stop. This
includes when packets are passing by and when packets are being sunk, but does not include when
packets are being sent from the ring stop.
• NOTE: On a 2 column implementation (e.g. 10C) CW_EVEN is actually
CW_VR0_EVEN+CW_VR1_EVEN (similarly for CCW/ODD). In any cycle, a ring stop can see up to
one packet moving in the CW direction and one packet moving in the CCW direction.
