Hard Disk Drive

Reports if there is a hard disk drive password set.

Password Prompt
Security
• Enable
• Disable
Enable: BIOS will always prompt for a hard disk drive
password if a User HDD Password is installed.
Disable: BIOS will never prompt for a hard disk drive
password unless attempting to boot to a drive with a User
HDD Password installed.
Hard Disk Pre-
Delay
Configuration > SATA Drives
• Disable
• 3 Seconds
• 6 Seconds
• 9 Seconds
• 12 Seconds
• 15 Seconds
• 21 Seconds
• 30 Seconds
Delay (in seconds) before hard drives are initialized. This
can be used to increase the amount of time that the BIOS
Splash Screen displays.
Time options available may vary by board.
Hard Drive Order
Boot
Lists all
installed hard
drive devices
Allows you to set the boot order of hard drives (used
when Boot Menu type is set to normal)
All detected hard drives will be included in the list. You
can change the order of devices. When attempting to
boot to hard drives, the BIOS will attempt to boot to each
device in the order of this list.
