1.10 Audio Subsystem
The onboard audio subsystem consists of the following:
• Intel 82801IDO ICH9DO
• RealTek ALC268-GR audio codec
• Back panel audio connectors

The audio subsystem supports the following features:
• A signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio of ≤95 dB playback quality, and ≤90 dB recording
quality
• Independent stereo audio playback from back panel connectors and Intel High
Definition Audio front panel header
NOTE
The use of AC 97 front panel audio headers is not recommended if you plan to obtain
Microsoft Windows Vista certification.
