The units affected by this Technical Advisory may have incorrect system fan location which leads to relatively higher

system fan speed thus worse acoustic performance than the units with correct system fan bracket.

Root Cause

There was an excursion during manufacturing and the Intel® Workstation system P4304CR2LFJN was built with the

incorrect system fan bracket.

Corrective Action / Resolution

Short term corrective action: Intel will provide replacement system fan brackets to customers requesting them,

Long term corrective action

: An additional fan bracket verification process was put in place in manufacturing to ensure there

are no reoccurrences in future.

have the following information when you call: part number requested and serial number(s) for the system(s) or board(s)

needing the replacement part.
