2.3 Electrical Description
The Intel
®
Local Control Panel is intended to control the display directly from the Baseboard
Management Controller (BMC) with no firmware internal to the LCD module.
2.3.1 LCD Controller
The Intel
®
Local Control Panel includes a NXP PCF2116CU LCD driver. The PCF2116 supports
24 wide characters; LCD display is only 16 characters.
