You can configure the system to support several different hard drive and peripheral
configurations. The peripheral/hard drive subsystem consists of a drive bay supporting a
slimline optical drive, hard drives, and a flex bay; a midplane; and a hot-swap backplane. This
chapter describes the details for each subsystem component.
