9.2 Serviceability and Availability
The system is designed to be serviced by qualified technical personnel only.
The desired Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) of the system is 30 minutes, which includes
diagnosing the system problem. To meet this goal, the system enclosure and hardware were
designed to minimize the MTTR.
The following table defines the maximum time needed by a trained field service technician to
perform the listed system maintenance procedures after diagnosing the system and identifying
the failed component.

9.3 Replacing the Backup Battery
The lithium battery on the server board powers the real time clock (RTC) for up to 10 years in
the absence of power. When the battery starts to weaken, it loses voltage, and the server
settings stored in CMOS RAM in the RTC (e.g., the date and time) may be wrong. Contact your
customer service representative or dealer for a list of approved devices.
