GENERAL SETUP
3.5.6 DMZ
If you have a local client PC that can’t run an Internet application properly
from behind the NAT rewall (games, for example), then you can open
the client up to unrestricted two-way Internet access by dening a DMZ
host. The DMZ function allows you to re-direct all packets going to your
WAN port IP address to a particular IP address in your LAN.
Enable DMZ: Select to activate the function.
DMZ Host IP Address: Enter the IP address of a particular host in your
LAN that will receive all the packets originally going to the WAN
port / public IP address above. N O T E : You need to give your LAN
PC clients a xed/static IP address for DMZ to work properly.
You can now congure other advanced sections or start using the
router with the advanced settings in place.
