Windows Vista
1. Go to Start → Settings → Control Panel.
2. Double-click Network and Sharing Center.
3. Click “Manage network connections”; right-click on the Local Area
Connection icon; then select “Properties.”
4. Check your list of Network Components. You should see “Internet
Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” on your list. Select it and click
“Properties.”
5. In the Internet
Protocol Version
4 (TCP/IPv4)
Properties
window, select
“Obtain an IP
address
automatically”
and “Obtain
DNS server
address
automatically.”
6. Click “OK” to
conrm the
setting. Your PC
will now obtain
an IP address
automatically
from your
router’s DHCP
server.
NOTE: Make sure that the Wireless G 4-Port Router’s DHCP server is
the only DHCP server available on your LAN.
