Introduction
IntelliTrack ISRP is a client server system using SQL Express or SQL
Server to handle the MDF back-end data file (or database) and MS Access
to handle much of the application front-end. For optimum system perfor-
mance, it is a good idea to regularly perform basic system maintenance,
including:
1. Backing up your database; for more information: please see Backing
Up the Database” on page 200.
2. Compacting the workstation at regular intervals: please see Compact-
ing the Workstation” on page 205.
The ISRP application also includes the front-end application; for front-end
backup information, please see
Front-End File Backup” on page 205. In
addition, if you ever need to change the ISRP application database connec-
tion, you may do so at the DATA.UDL file, which is available from the
ISRP workstation application Tools tab or the ISRP Program folder.
For more information, please see
Changing the Application Database Con-
nection” on page 198.
