Introduction
The Purge function manages application data by deleting old or obsolete
information from the application. This keeps the database size to a mini-
mum and improves system performance. Data is purged at the Purge form.
Important: Before purging data, we recommend backing up your data-
base. For information about backing up your database, please refer to
Backing Up the Database” on page 200.
Sample Data IntelliTrack ISRP provides you with sample data. Your sample database is
populated with sample warehouse sites, locations, item numbers, and item
quantities. Use IntelliTrack ISRP with the sample database to become
familiar with the application. When you are comfortable with the applica-
tion, and are ready to establish your own warehouse sites, locations, item
numbers, and item quantities, clear the sample data from the application by
purging it from the application.
Note: Before establishing your warehouse sites, locations, item numbers,
and item quantities, you must purge the existing sample data from the sys-
tem.

Reaching the Purge Form
Application data is deleted from your application at the Purge form. To
reach the Purge form, select Tools > Change Database Connection >
Purge from the ribbon. The Purge form appears.
