Settings overview
Wireless &
networks
WiFi – tap on this line to turns on/off the wireless connection.
WiFi settings – Here you can change the individual WiFi settings.
Sound
Silent mode – mutes all tones (except alarm and media playback).
Volume – adjusts volume settings.
Notification ringtone – sets the standard notification sound.
Audible selection – turns on/off the confirmation tone when touchscreen is
touched.
Screen lock sounds – turns on/off the acoustic signal when locking and
unlocking the display.
Display
Brightness – adjusts screen brightness.
Auto-rotate screen – turns on/off the automatic screen orientation when
turning the device.
Animation – sets animation frequency, for example when opening and
closing applications.
Screen timeout – adjusts screen delay before automatic shutdown.
Location &
security
Here you can allow various Android™ applications to determine and use your
current location via wireless networks (e.g. Google Maps™). You can still
activate a screen lock and make other security settings.
Applications
Here you can manage your applications and access information about the
applications.
Privacy
Here you can save your system settings and application data on Google™
servers. In addition, you can restore the factory settings. ATTENTION: This
will erase all data stored on the device.
Storage
Here you can access information about the internal memory, and – if used –
about your MicroSD card. You can also delete the contents of the memory.
Language &
keyboard
Set here your preferred language first and then add new words to the built-in
dictionary in order to optimize text input.
Date & time
Here you can set the date, time, time zone and display formats.
Update Media
Library
Here you can update the media library of your device manually.
About Device
This shows you information about the device

This unit has a preloaded e-book reader.
Copying e-books between computer and device
You can copy e-books via a USB connection to the internal memory of your device. Please take a look
at the section "Transfer of Data between Device and Computer".
Note: Please make sure that the e-book has one of the following formats: PDF, EPUB, TXT, FB2, RTF, PDB.
