CONA CLA-8A and CLA-18SA are designed for
professionals who demand easy installation and
excellent sound effects at the same time.
CONA CLA Line-up is composed of CLA-8A Full Range Speakers and CLA-18SA subwoofers. With CLA-8A-line
source components, operating in a frequency bandwidth of the response within 80Hz~18KHz which can be
extended to 40Hz with additional CLA-18SA subwoofer. 2way, bi-amplified CLA-8A uses dual 8” high power
low driver which exceeds total frequency range and generates 120 degree horizontal symmetric distribution
without a secondary protrusion thanks to the utilized bass-reflex interior, coupled with v-shaped sonic dif-
fractor screen. Each 8” high power low driver is equipped in a separate space that enforces compartment and
eliminates internal conflicts. At high frequencies, a premium 75mm voice coil compressed driver matches ap-
propriate waves to perform a precise and soft line array effect. The V-shaped sonic diffractor / screen combi-
nation along with the wave guide allow CLA-8A line source to bend the wavefront for each component up to
10 degrees without inter-element coupling to break up. The internal center of CLA-8A is constructed with 1st
grade Baltic white birch veneer while the top and the bottom is aluminum to insure the mechanical perfection.
The 4-point simple and rapid integration equipment system supports up to 24 CLA-8A-element arrays. CONA
CLA-18SA subwoofer sub-base achieves the highest possible pressure and Hi-fidelity sound. High Linear
Tendency enables CLA-18SA equipped with the custom 18” transducer to draw maximum 2400w output. The
separate Bass Duct interior is designed to reduce frictions as well as the distortions by the rapid movements.
This specialized duct is an essential component of CLA-18SA. CLA-18SA is installed either suspended or
stacked.
