Removing the Battery Pack Attaching the Battery Pack
1. Slide the Battery Lock

toward the outside edge of the
Power Converter

until it reaches the end of the slider.
2. Pull the Battery Pack

and the Power Converter

apart at the
center seam between the plug interface and Charging Port

1. Align the slots in the bottom of the Battery Pack

with the
hooks at the bottom of the Power Converter

and press the
halves together until the red / black contacts at the top intersect.
2. Slide the Battery Lock

away from the outside edge of the
Power Converter

until it reaches the end of the slider.
Power Converter Operation Charging the Battery Pack
1. With the Battery Pack

inserted rmly in the Power Converter

toggle the Power Switch

from “O” to “I” to turn the unit on.
2. Battery life is readable from the Battery Status Indicator

on the
Power Converter

while the Nomad is powered on.
3 dots = 50-100%
2 dots = 33-50%
1 dots ≤ 33%
1. Disconnect the Battery Pack

and remove the larger side of
the protective rubber plug from the Charging Port

2. Insert the end of your Nomad charger into the Charging Port

3. The LED on the Nomad charger transformer pack will glow red
while charging, and turn green upon completion. Charging will
take approximately 3.5 hours to fully charge one Battery Pack

Attaching Mounts & Clamps Removing Mounts & Clamps Replacing the Fuse
1. Locate the Mounting Plate

and align
the brackets of your clamp or mount
with the holes on the plate.
2. Press the brackets of your clamp or
third-party mount into the holes of the
Mounting Plate

and slide it toward the
Power Outlets

until it clicks.
1. Press the Mounting Plate Release

down and slide the brackets of your
mount away from the Power Outlets

.
2. Pull up on the clamp or mount and
remove it from the Mounting Plate

.
1. Set the Power Switch

to the OFF (“O”)
position and remove the Battery Pack

.
2. Firmly grip the 30A Fuse
6
with your
ngers or pliers and pull up to discard.
3. Take a new 30A fuse (included) and
carefully press it straight into the 30A
Fuse slot

until the base of the plastic
sheath sits ush with the device.
