Description

The Advisor™ family of life-safety protection and comfort management systems detects situations, and provides control and

information for homes and businesses.

This document provides instructions on installing the AdvisorOne 3G Antenna (P/N AVO-3GANT) for use with the AdvisorOne

panel.

Note: This instruction sheet does not provide instructions on how to install the Advisor Cellular Modem. Please refer to the Advisor

Cellular Modem Installation Sheet (P/N 466-4412) for more information.

This antenna (A in Figure 1) ensures proper cellular communication and is a required component when using an Advisor Cellular

Modem.

Installing the AdvisorOne 3G Antenna into the AdvisorOne panel 1. Carefully connect the Antenna cable (B in Figure 2) to the Advisor Cellular Modem connector (C in Figure 2) by pressing firmly into the connector until hearing a click. 2. Route the antenna cable (B in Figure 2) on top of the communications cover (ensure the knockout of the communication has been removed) alongside the battery (D in Figure 2) and inside the battery strap (E in Figure 2).
