KTP-24-8 Multiple Output Power Supply

The KTP-24-8 is a compact and durable power supply that is typically used to power up to eight CyberDomes. It features

eight isolated 24 VAC outputs that can power devices requiring 1 amp or less. Each output is equipped with a resettable

fuse. The unit can be powered from either a standard 115 or 230 VAC source. A rack-mount accessory is available.

Note: The KTP-24-8E4 can be used as a standard 230 VAC source.

CAUTION:

The KTP-24-8 was designed for indoor applications only. For outdoor units with a heater and fan, use the KTP-24 or KTP-

24C.

INSTALLING THE UNIT

1) Mount the unit using the slots provided.

2) Make cable connections to the KTP-24-8 as shown in Figure 1. Refer to Table 1, “Maximum Cable Length,” for

suitable cable gauge sizes when connecting the output cables.

Maximum cable length Each 24 VAC output of the power supply has a resettable fuse that will trip if the current draw exceeds one amp. In this event, the device on that output may operate intermittently, or not at all. The fuse will automatically reset itself when the load is removed from the output.
