2.3.2 Management Stacking
The stack operation of the IFS Managed Switch supports Plug and Play Stacking connection and auto stack configuration.
Step 5: Once the stack starts operation, the Stack master will be automatically elected without any configuration. The Stack
master is indicated by a lit green MasterLED on the front panel as Figure 2-24 shows.

Step 6: When an IFS Switch is added to the stack, a Switch ID is automatically assigned to the IFS Switch. The automatic SID
assignment can be modified by choosing a different Switch ID on the Stack Configuration page. This method allows
Switch IDs to be assigned so that it is easier for the user to remember the ID of each switch.
