Option
Description
Working M
ode The recorder has two 10M/100M/1000M NIC cards that support net
fault tolerance, load balance, and multi-address modes. Select one of
the options:
Net Fault tolerance: When one LAN port fails, the other one takes over.
This is the default option.
Load Balance: The bandwidth is divided over the two LAN ports with
one IP address.
Multi-address: Each LAN port is separate with its own IP address. This
allows one LAN port for the IP cameras and the
other for client PCs such
as TruNav.
Select NIC
Select which LAN port is being defined.
NIC T
ype Network interface card (NIC) is a device used to connect the recorder to
a network. Select the NIC type used from the drop-down list.
Default value is 10M/100M/1000M self-adaptive.
Enable DHCP
Check this box if you have a DHCP server running and want your
recorder to automatically obtain an IP address and other network
settings from that server.
Default value is Disabled.
IPv4 A
ddress Enter the IP address for the recorder.
Default value is 192.168.1.82.
IPv4 Subnet M
ask Enter the subnet mask for your network so the recorder will be
recognized within the network.
Default value is 255.255.255.0
IPv4 Default G
ateway Enter the IP address of your network gateway so the recorder will be
recognized within the network. This is typically the IP address of your
router.
Default value is 192.168.1.1
IPv6 A
ddress 1 Enter the IPv6 address for the recorder.
Default value is fe80::240:30ff:fe48:2975/64.
IPv6 A
ddress 2 Enter the IPv6 address for the recorder.
IPv6 Default G
ateway Enter the IPv6 address of your network gateway so the recorder will be
recognized within the network. This is typically the IP address of your
router.
MAC A
ddress Display the MAC address.
MTU
(bytes) Enter a value between 500 and 9676. Default is 1500.
Preferred DNS S
erver Enter the preferred domain name server to use with the recorder.
Alternate DNS S
erver Enter the alternate domain name server to use with the recorder.
Main NIC
(or
DefaultRroute)
Select the main LAN port when net fault tolerance or load balance mode
is selected. LAN I is default.
Select which LAN is the main route when multi-address mode is
selected.
Note: Not available on the TVN 21S.
Internal NIC IPv4 Address
Enter the IP address of the PoE switch in the recorder. This setting is
only available for the TVN 21S.
