Chapter 4: Operating instructions

Task

Button Button function

F2 Press to hide the control panel.

Pause

mode Direction The left and right buttons are used to jump recorded video

forwards or backwards by one frame. The up and down buttons

are used to jump recorded video forwards or backwards by one

second.

PTZ control mode

Direction Press to control the movement of the PTZ camera.

Zoom +/- Press to zoom in and out.

Preset Press Preset and a numeric button to call the specified preset.

Tour Press Tour and a numeric button to call the specified shadow

tour.

Play Press to do an auto tour.

Display Press to delete a selected key point from the PTZ Setting >

More Settings> Tour > Key Point list.

F2 Press to stop all ongoing operations.

Menu navigation

Direction Press to navigate between different fields and items in menus.

Menu Enter/exit the main menu.

Enter Press to confirm the selection in any of the menu modes.

Zoom +/- Press Zoom + and – to switch between different tabs in a menu

screen.

Preset Press to navigate in a text field, press to move the cursor to the

left.

Tour Press to navigate in a text field, press to move the cursor to the

right.

F1 Press to exit the virtual keypad.

F1 Select all or deselect all options in a menu.

F2 Press to select or deselect an item.

Multiview mode

Display Press to toggle through the various multiviews: full, quad, 1+5,

1+7, 9, and 16.

Calendar mode

Zoom +/- Press Zoom+ and then the Up/Down buttons to scroll between

months. Use the Left/Right buttons to scroll between years.

Press Zoom+ again to quit the calendar mode.

Tour Press Tour and then the Up/Down buttons to scroll between

months. Use the Left/Right buttons to scroll between years.

Press Tour again to quit calendar mode.

Press Menu and then Up/Down buttons to scroll between weeks.

Press Menu and then Left/Right buttons to scroll between days.

Search mode

Play Play a selected video from the Event Search results.

Play a selected video from the Log Search results.

Play a selected video from the Normal Search results.

View a selected picture from the Picture Search results.

Play a selected video from the Bookmark Search results.

Play a selected video on the USB flash drive.

Holiday mode

Preset Press to edit a holiday listed under Display Mode Setting >
