To call up a shadow tour:
1. From the menu toolbar, click Camera Setup > PTZ Preset/Tours.
2. Select the shadow tour from the list and click to start the tour. Click to stop
the shadow tour.
3. Click Exit to return to live view.
V-stream encoding
If the available bandwidth is limited, you can remotely view several channels in real
time with one stream over the web browser or VMS (Video Management System), such
as TruVision navigator, using the V-stream encoding option ("V" stands for "virtual").
When enabled, you can see the output from the cameras on a remote client monitor in
one stream.
Note: The V-stream uses the layout that is set up for the BNC monitor.
To setup V-stream encoding:
1. From the menu toolbar, click Camera Setup > V-Stream Encoding.
2. Check the Enable V-Stream Encoding box to enable the feature.
3. Select the Frame Rate from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the Max. Bitrate from the drop-down menu.
Note: The layout of the V-stream can be set up via the OSD menu (Display Settings >
Layout menu (BNC)) or via the webpage.
People counting
This function helps to calculate the number of people or objects entering or exiting a
configured area and is primarily used with entrances or exits.
Set up the people counting function from the camera itself. Please refer to the camera’s
configuration manual for further information.
Note: This function cannot distinguish between a moving person and a moving object.
To set up counting statistics:
Note: An SD card must be installed and configured in the camera in order to save count
data and generate reports.
1. From the menu toolbar, click Camera Setup > People Counting.
2. Select the camera from which you want to count objects.
3. Select the report type: Daily report, Weekly report, Monthly report, and Annual
report.
