Deleting an Event
Followthisproceduretodeleteanevent.
1. Press SET ON/OFF EVENTS toscrolltotheunwantedON
orOFFevent.
2. PressDELETE.Thescreendisplaysdashestoindicatethe
ONorOFFeventisdeleted.
NOTE:Ifnecessary,repeatthisproceduretodeleteboth
ONandOFFsettingsfortheevent.
3. Whenthemodicationsarecomplete,pressSET ON/OFF
EVENTStoscrollthroughall7ON/OFFevents(includingblank
events)andreturntothetimeofdayscreen(ashingcolon).
Resetting the Timer
Incaseofatimemalfunctionortodeleteallprevioussettings,the
unitcanbereset.
Toresetthetimer,useapenorbluntobjecttoPressRESET.The
timerresetsanddeletes all the settings in the unit
.
Replacing the Battery
OneAAsizealkalinebatteryisneededtocompletethisprocedure.
1. Unplugthetimerpowercord.
2. Fromtherearofthetimer,removetheretainingscrewand
batterycover.
3. InstallthenewAAbattery(observepolarity).
4. Verifythatthecontrollerdisplayactivates.
5. Takeoneoftheseactions.

OFF AUTO AUTO mode is selected, load is OFF, and will
stay OFF until the next scheduled ON event.

Reviewing or Modifying an Event
Followthisproceduretomodifyanevent.
1. PressSET ON/OFF EVENTStoscrolltothedesiredevent.
2. PressDATE/TIME/NEXTtoselecttheeventsettingthat
youwanttomodify.
3. Press+or-toadjustthesetting,thenpressDATE/TIME/
NEXTtosaveandadvancetothenextsetting.
4. Repeatstep3asneededforthisevent.
5. Ifyouwanttomodifyanotherevent,pressSET ON/OFF
EVENTStoscrolltothedesiredevent.

Intermatic Incorporated will repair or replace it, at its sole option, free of charge. This warranty is extended

or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear; (g) transit damage, initial installation costs,
removal costs, or reinstallation costs.

Troubleshooting
Symptom Possible Cause Solution
The timer is losing settings Low battery not holding memory Replace the battery. See Replacing the
Battery.
Output does not switch or output switches
at wrong time
Auto or RDM mode is not properly selected. Select the desired mode. See Daily
Operation.
There are extra or incorrect event settings. Press SET ON/OFF EVENTS to scroll
through the events to find the event that
needs to be changed or deleted.
See Reviewing or Modifying an Event.
Astro Events have seasonally adjusted
beyond fixed time.
Make sure the fixed timed events are not set
anywhere in the range of earliest to latest
sunrise and sunset.
