Battery Safety Information
Follow these tips for maintaining the PB3 battery:
• Be sure to fully charge the battery before long printing sessions,
such as printing receipts with many bar codes and graphics.
• For maximum battery life, Intermec recommends charging the
battery at 25°C (77°F).
• Remove the battery from the printer before storing the printer for
long periods of time.
• The battery storage temperature is -20°C to 40°C (-4°F to 104°F).
Do not store a fully charged battery at temperatures greater than
40°C (104°F) for long periods of time – the battery may
permanently lose charge capacity.
• Dispose of battery according to local regulations. Do not throw in
trash.
• Do not disassemble, short circuit, heat above 80°C (176°F), or
incinerate. The battery may explode.
