SECTION 3 - HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
OVERVIEW: This product is inert and presents no hazards when used intact under normal circumstances.
However, when the product is being cut, melted, heated or burned there exists a potential for the release of
hazardous chemicals or particulates.
INHALATION: Breathing fumes or particulates generated from the cutting, melting or heating may release
toxic chemicals or irritating dusts.
SKIN: None expected; however prolonged exposure to dusts from cutting may cause irritation.
EYES: Dusts from cutting may cause irritation.
INGESTION: If pieces are ingested, it may cause gastric distress, stomach pains, vomiting and diarrhea.
CARCINOGENICITY: None under normal uses and circumstances
SECTION 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES
INHALATION: If excessive amounts of fumes or dusts are inhaled while cutting, heating or melting this
product, remove the affected person to fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention.
SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing, wash affected area with soap and water, wash contaminated clothing
before reuse. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
EYES: Remove contact lenses. Flush eyes with clean running water for 15 minutes while holding eyes
open. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
INGESTION: Give two glasses of water for dilution. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.
