Ensure your pool chemical balance is within the following range:
CHEMICAL IDEALLEVELS
Salt 3000ppm
pH 7.4-7.6
TotalAlkalinity 80ppm
CalciumHardness 100-250ppm
IMPORTANT:
Donotaddchlorinestabilizer(cyanuricacid)inthepoolwateratthisstageasthiswill
slowdownthesanitationtimeofthedevice,thustakinglongertorestorepoolwaterclarity.

Maintenance and treatment procedures depending on your pool water condition and stage
 Initialpoolwaterisclearandclean,thenturnsgreenishduringnormaloperationorinboostmode:

a.
Thisisnormal.Lettheboostcyclenishitsoperationandthewaterwillberestoredtoacleanand
  clearcondition.Afterthewaterhasbeenrestoredtoaclearcondition,therewillbemetal
  ionsediment(darkred-brownishcolor)fromyourwatersourcesettlingatthebottomofthepool 
  oor.

b.
Donotdisturborstirupthesediment.UseanIntexDeluxeMaintenanceKitvacuumaccessory 
  toslowlyremovethemetalionsediment.Makesurethewastewaterisdischargedintoawaste/ 
  drainoutletandnotbackintothepool.Fillthepoolwaterbacktotherecommendedlevel
  afterwards.

c.
 Filterthepoolwaterforalongerperiodoftimeandasmanytimesadayuntilthewaterturnsclear.
  Checkthepumpltermediafrequentlyasthemediawillgetcloggedrapidly,thereforerequiring 
  frequentcleaning,backwashingorreplacementoftheltermedia.

d.
 Ifyouareusingacartridgelterpumpandthewaterconditionhasnotimprovedperabovetime 
  table,yourlterpumpperformanceisnotsufcient.Stopthepump,letthewaterrestfor2daysto
  allowtheparticlestosettleontheoor,andthenuseanIntexDeluxeMaintenanceKitvacuum
  accessorytoslowlyvacuumoutthesedimentfromtheoor.Makesurethewastewater  
  isdischargedintoawaste/drainoutletandnotbackintothepool.Fillthepoolwaterbacktothe
  recommendedlevelafterwards.
 Ifthepoolhasnotbeenltered,sanitizedandcoveredforalongperiodoftime,andthewaterhas 
 turnedswampy-greencolor;youmaytrythefollowingwithoutexchangingthepoolwater:

a.
 Slowlyremovethelargedebrisandparticlesfromthepooloorandsurfacerstusingaskimmer
  orleafnet.Donotagitatethewatertoomuch.

b.
 SettheSaltwaterSystemtorunforamaximumof12hoursandstarttheBOOSTmode.Seethe
  owner’smanualfordetails.Checkthepumpltermediafrequentlyasthemediawillgetclogged
  rapidly,thereforerequiringfrequentcleaning,backwashingorreplacementoftheltermedia.

c.
 UseanIntexDeluxeMaintenanceKtvacuumaccessorytoslowlyvacuumoutthemediumsized 
  debrisandparticlesfromthewater.Makesurethewastewaterisdischargedintoawaste/drain
  outletandnotbackintothepool.Fillthepoolwaterbacktotherecommendedlevelafterwards.

d.
 Filterthepoolwaterforalongerperiodoftimeandasmanytimesadayuntilthewaterturnsclear.
  Checkthepumpltermediafrequentlyasthemediawillgetcloggedrapidly,thereforerequiring 
  frequentcleaning,backwashingorreplacementoftheltermedia.
