3 Getting Started
3.1Installing the SIM Cards and UIM Card and the Battery
The mobile phone supports GSM and CDMA at the same time. A SIM card or an
UIM card carries useful information, including your mobile phone number, Personal
Identification Number (PIN), PIN2, PIN Unlocking Key (PUK), PIN2 Unlocking Key
(PUK2), International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), network information, contact
data, and short message data
Note:
After powering on your mobile phone, wait for a few seconds before removing or
inserting an SIM card.
Exercise caution when operating an SIM card, as friction or bending will damage
the SIM card.
Properly keep the mobile phone and its fittings such as the SIM cards beyond
children's reach.
Installation
Hold the End key for a while to power off the mobile phone
Pull the rear battery cover to remove.
Take out the battery.
Gently insert the SIM/UIM card into the SIM/UIM card slot with its metal surface
facing the phone and its dent facing down, till the SIM/UIM card cannot be further
pushed in.
Aim the positive pole and negative pole of the battery at the battery connector in the
mobile phone, and press down the battery to install the battery into the battery tank.
