Installation of Traffic Cable(s), Continued
Ethernet
(S-FTP) cable
installation
procedure
To install StreetNode
TM
6250 PTP Ethernet S-FTP cable, proceed as follows:
Step
Action
1 Slide all three parts of the supplied gland over the S-FTP cable
(StreetNode
TM
6250 PTP side), as shown below:
2 Prepare and terminate the Ethernet cable as instructed in
Appendix A: Terminating Ethernet (S-FTP) Cable on page 67
.
3 First plug the RJ-45 jack and then tighten the cable gland, as
shown below:
4 Cut the chain of the protective cup.
