WARNING
After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.
Replacing/Adjusting the Footrest and Leg Guard
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 6.1.
NOTE:Ifreplacingfootrestorlegguard,takenoteofcurrentposition.
Replacing/Adjusting Footrest
1. Removethehexboltandlocknutthat
securethefootresttothefork.
2. Ifreplacingfootrestperformthe
following:
A. Removeexistingfootrestfrom
clamp.
B. Insertnewfootrestintoclamp.
3. Slidefootresttodesiredposition.
4. Reinstallhexboltandlocknut.Tighten
securely.
5. RepeatSTEPS15fortheopposite
footrest,ifnecessary.
Replacing/Adjusting Leg Guard
NOTE:ThisprocedureisforTopEndXLT,
XLTJr.,andXLTProONLY.
1. Loosenthetwoallenscrewsoneach
mountingclamp.
2. Ifreplacinglegguard,preformthe
following:
3. Removeexistinglegguardfrom
clamps.
4. Insertnewlegguardintoclamps.

NOTE:Thelegguardshouldsurround,butnottouch,therearofthefronttire.
