Setup Guide

Charge
1. Connect your brush to the charger. The button light pulses
white while charging. When the lights turn solid white,
your brush is fully charged.
2. When your battery is low, you will receive an audible low
battery tone along with a red light indicator that lasts for
10 seconds.
3. We recommend charging your battery for a full 16 hours
before the first use. A fully charged battery should provide
at least 2 weeks of regular use (2 mins, 2x daily).
Note: Keep the charger in a dry area, and make sure the
brush is clean and dry before charging.
Connect to the App
1. Download the Beam on the Apple
App Store or Google Play. Sign into
your Beam account to get started.
2. Place your brush on the charger.
Navigate to the Brush tab and
click “Set up your Beam Brush.”
When the screen indicates it is
searching for your brush, press
the button on the brush for 3
seconds until the light flashes
blue to enter provisioning mode.
Note: You can only pair 1 brush at a time.
3. When the app has discovered
your brush, Beam Brush 3.0,
select it and follow the in-app
instructions to finish set-up.
4. Once your brush is connected to
the app, you can customize your
brushing experience, access your
digital insurance card, view claim
information and more!
Picking your brush mode
When turned on, your brush defaults
to the standard Clean brushing mode.
To switch brushing modes, navigate to
the “Brush Settings” tab in your Beam
app and select “Brush Modes.”

Clean: our standard brushing mode
Whitening: made to combat surface
stains (note: this mode runs for 2
minutes and 30 seconds)
Sensitive: a soter mode for sensitive gums
Kids: a gentle mode for children’s teeth
Note: Intensity can be adjusted for each mode. Setting changes
may take up to 15 seconds ater the brush is turned on to update.
Picking brush colors
Pick out your favorite color for your
brush light ring in the Brush light
settings. You can also adjust the
brightness to get your perfect choice.

Brushing: solid white
Low Battery: fade to red followed
by solid red
Charging 0%-99%: slow white pulse
Fully charged: solid white
Pairing: pulse blue
Pairing Failure: solid red
Pairing Successful: solid white
Firmware Update: blink white and blue
Taking care of your Beam Brush
Keep it clean. Ater brushing, rinse the brush head and handle
separately, and wipe dry. Never place the Beam brush in the
dishwasher or submerge in water. Clean with a damp cloth.
Keep it fresh. Dentists recommend replacing your brush head
at least every 90 days with normal use. Using the Beam app,
you an track the life if your brush head, simply navigate to the
Brush tab. You can order new brush heads via our app
or shop.beam.dental.
Brushing tips
1. Brush for two minutes twice a day
2. Brush each quadrant (upper let/right, lower let/right)
for 30 seconds.
3. Brush along the gum line
4. Angry gums? Try our Sensitive brush mode to
help clean gentle areas.
5. Don’t forget to brush the roof of your mouth and tongue.
6. No need to press hard - let the brush do the work!
