Nederlands 1 veiligheidsvoorschriften • Lees eerst de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig en geheel door voordat u het apparaat gaat gebruiken en bewaar deze zorgvuldig voor latere raadpleging. • Gebruik dit apparaat uitsluitend voor de in de gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven doeleinden. Het apparaat is geschikt voor het bewaren en invriezen van levensmiddelen.
• Dit model bevat R600a - zie hiervoor het typeplaatje in het apparaat - (het koelmiddel isobuthaan), aardgas dat zeer milieuvriendelijk is, maar ook ontvlambaar. Bij het vervoer en het installeren van het apparaat moet er goed opgelet worden dat de componenten van het koelcircuit niet beschadigd raken. In het geval van beschadiging moet men open vuur of ontstekingsbronnen vermijden en de ruimte waar het apparaat staat een aantal minuten goed ventileren.
• Dit apparaat mag gebruikt worden door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar oud en personen met een verminderd fysiek, gevoelsmatig of mentaal vermogen of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis als ze onder toezicht staan van of instructies hebben gekregen met betrekking tot het gebruik van het apparaat en ze de potentiële gevaren begrijpen. Kinderen mogen het apparaat niet als speelgoed gebruiken. Kinderen mogen het apparaat niet reinigen of aan onderhoud onderwerpen zonder toezicht.

Het koelcircuit moet zich eerst stabiliseren voordat het apparaat efficiënt kan werken.
4 bediening van het apparaat THERMOSTAAT INSTELLING De thermostaat regelt de temperatuur in de vriezer automatisch. Door de knop van stand 1 naar 5 te draaien verlaagt u de temperatuur. Let op: draait u de knop voorbij stand 1 op “�“ dan gaat uw vriezer uit. INSTELLING VAN DE THERMOSTAAT VOOR HET VRIEZERCOMPARTIMENT: Stand 1-2: voor het bewaren van voedsel in de vriezer gedurende korte tijd kunt u de knop tussen de laagste en de mediumstand zetten.
5 voedsel in het apparaat plaatsen VRIESGEDEELTE Het vriesgedeelte biedt u de mogelijkheid om diepgevroren producten te bewaren, verse levensmiddelen in te vriezen en ijsblokjes te maken. • Vries niet teveel tegelijk in. Hoe sneller het invriezen, hoe langer de kwaliteit van het voedsel behouden blijft. • Zorg er voor dat de levensmiddelen goed verpakt zijn, zodat ze hun smaak behouden en geen geur afgeven aan andere levensmiddelen. • Leg de diepvriesproducten zo snel mogelijk na aankoop in het vriesvak.
Waarschuwing: Verwijder ijsaanslag nooit met scherpe voorwerpen, ontdooisprays, een föhn, een straalkacheltje of iets dergelijks. Dit kan leiden tot onveilige situaties en onherstelbare schade veroorzaken aan het apparaat. TIPS • Een hoge omgevingstemperatuur beïnvloedt het energieverbruik nadelig. Ook direct zonlicht en andere warmtebronnen in de buurt van de vriezer hebben een ongunstige invloed. • Houd de ventilatieopeningen vrij. Afgedekte en vervuilde openingen veroorzaken een hoge energieverbruik.
8 installatie voorschrift Lees voor u met de installatie begint zorgvuldig deze installatie instructies. • Plaats de vriezer alleen in een stevige keukenkast met voldoende ventilatievoorzieningen (figuur B en C). • Wijzig indien noodzakelijk de draairichting van de deuren volgens de instructies. • Controleer de inbouwafmetingen van uw model aan de hand van figuur C. De hoogte van de deur van het apparaat moet overeenkomen met de hoogte van de kastdeuren.

4 how to operate the appliance THERMOSTAT SETTING The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the compartment. By rotating the knob from position 1 to 5, colder temperatures can be obtained. Note: rotating the knob beyond position 1 to “�“ will stop the appliance. FREEZER THERMOSTAT SETTING 1-2: for short-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set the knob between the minimum and medium position.
5 food storage in the appliance FREEZER COMPARTMENT The freezer compartment is used for freezing fresh foods and for storing frozen foods for the period of time on the packaging and for making ice cubes. • Do not freeze too large an amount of food at one time; the faster the food is frozen, the longer is preserves its qualities. • Wrap and seal fresh food properly. The packaging should be air tight and shouldn’t leak. • Place frozen food in the freezer compartment as soon as possible after purchase.
TIPS • High ambient temperatures have a negative effect on energy use. Keep the refrigerator in a position away from direct sunlight or other sources of heat. • Keep ventilation openings free. Clogged openings lead to higher use of energy. • Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is wet and hot. Once you open the door, mind to close it as soon as possible. • Turn the thermostat to a lower setting when the circumstances allow it.
