Please ensure that you
never press the SCAN button for longer than 10
seconds during use. Otherwise you will get into a
special measuring mode in which the device does
not longer measure correctly. If you get into this
mode, wait until the device automatically turns
itself off - it will revert to the normal measuring
mode when it is next turned on.

 This is
particularly important so that the sensor tip can be pointed
directly at the eardrum.

If you repeat the
measurement more often, the results may be imprecise and lower.
Let the device cool down for at least 15 minutes before a further
