ForacorrectNIBPcufffit:
•Adultandpediatricpatients—theindex
lineonthesizechosenshouldfallwithin
therangelinewhenplacedonthe
patient.
Neonatalpatients—thesizechosen
shouldbewithinthestated
circumferencerangeforthelimbofthe
neonate.
•Allpatients—alignthecufftoensurethe
arterymarkisplacedovertheartery.
•Allpatients—themiddleof
thecuff
shouldbeplacedattheleveloftheright
atriumoftheheart.
WARNING
