The EZ VHS Converter Preview Screen is blank, flashing, or distorted

The most common reasons you might encounter a blank Preview Screen in the EZ VHS

Converter software would be:

1. The Tape/Other switch on the front of the VCR 2 PC switched is set to Other.

When recording form a cassette in the VCR 2 PC, set this switch to Tape. Only switch

this switch to Other when you are recording from another video source connected to the

auxiliary video input on the front of the VCR 2 PC.

2. The EZ VHS Converter software settings are incorrect.

Go to the VCR 2 PC screen (the screen with the preview window) and click Settings, and

choose the following:

• Set Video Device to VCR 2 PC CAPTURE

• Set Video Input Source to COMPOSITE VIDEO

• Set Video Standard to NTSC_M (in the United States)

• Set Audio Source to AUDIO PIN SOURCE
