Breeze Extended Run Generator System II Assembly and Use Instruction
Cap Assembly:
1. With the Yellow Teflon tape applied to all of the fittings, insert the 90 degree fitting into “The Upper Red Cap”. The fittings must be tightened with a 5/8” wrench to secure it tightly.
Then tighten the male coupler fitting into the 90 degree fitting. Always be sure to apply Teflon tape to the thread of the fitting to insure an airtight fit.
Note: Yellow Teflon tape must be used, since it is designed not to break down by petroleum products.
Step1 Step2
2. Remove the OEM cap from the generator and attach “The Upper Red Cap” with the two fittings to the generator. “The Upper Red Cap” will replace the current OEM cap that comes
with your generator when you are using the generator in an extended run environment. DO NOT DISCARD YOUR OEM GENERATOR CAP. You will need the OEM cap anytime you
use your generator in a non-extended run environment. “The Upper Red Cap” is not designed to operate on your generator when it is not connected to the external fuel tank.
*Repeat steps 1 and 2 for Generator # 2 and “The Upper Red Cap” # 2
Directions for using “The Upper Red Cap”
1. Make sure your enclosed gas tank and generators are on a level, secure, surface. This will avoid fuel leakage hazards.
2. Fill generators completely with gasoline.
3. Fill the enclosed external fuel tank until it is full.
4. Connect the male coupler to the female coupler attached to the fuel line. DO NOT put Teflon tape on the male end of the coupler fitting that connects to the female coupler fitting on
the fuel line. Repeat Step 4 for Generator #2.
5. Insert the enclosed “T” fitting into the fuel tank. The other end of the fuel lines will connect directly to the “T” fitting in the fuel tank. Yellow Teflon tape MUST always be present on
these fittings.
Step3
Step4
6. Open the vent on the fuel tank.
Vent is located on the fill cap;
on the fuel tank.
Step5
7. Start generators. In a few minutes, the fuel will transfer from the external fuel tank to the generatorsdual. This works as a vacuum process; the fuel will eventually begin to top off the
fuel tank of the generators.
8. After use, disconnect the fuel lines from “The Upper Red Cap” and the fuel tank.
9. Close air vent on fuel tank.
Note: Make sure to disconnect the fuel line from “The Upper Red Cap” before transporting. Also, make sure to disconnect fuel line from “The Upper Red Cap” before you unscrew
“The Upper Red Cap” from the generator. This system works under a small amount of vacuum pressure and will spill a small amount of fuel if you do not disconnect the fuel line
first. Always, make sure the air vent on marine gas can is closed when transporting.
Trouble Shooting
1. Make sure the gas tank on the generators and your external fuel tank are full with gas.
2. Make sure the gas line has no cuts or leaks. This would cause it to loose pressure in the system.
3. Make sure “The Upper Red Cap” is on the generator finger tight.
4. Make sure the vent is open on the external fuel tank. It is located on the top of the fill cap and can be unscrewed to open it.
5. Tank must be sitting at the same level as the generator on a flat surface. Not above or below each other.
6. If the system does not have good pressure, check all fittings and connections for leaks.
