Installation:
Important:
Read
all
instructions before installing transformer. Follow
all
National
and
Local Electrical Codes.
Contact
a
qualified electrician
if you
have
any
questions
as to the
suitability
of the
system
or any
doubts
about
your
ability
to
wire
this
correctly.
CAUTION: TURN
OFF
POWER
AT
FUSE
OR
JUNCTION
BOX
BEFORE
INSTALLING
THE
TRANSFORMER.
Locate
a
junction
box
near
the
chime installation location.
Remove
the
cover plate
for the
junction
box and one of the
knockout holes
in
the
box.
Do no
install
the
transformer
in an
attic.
Route
the
transformer wires through
the
knockout hole
and
install
the
transformer
to the
junction
box
with
the
locknut.
Connect
the
black wire from
the
120VAC power source
to one of the
black
wires
from
the
transformer with
a
wire nut. Connect
the
white wire
from
the
transformer
to the
white wire from
the
power source. Connect
the
green wire
from
the
transformer
to the
bare copper wire (ground)
from
the
power supply.
Check
the
connections
and
replace
the
cover.
Attach
the low
voltage wires
from
the
chime
to the
screw terminals
on the
transformer
following
the
instructions
in the
chime manual.

PRECAUCION:
APAGUE
LA
CORRIENTE
ELETRICA
DE LA
CAJA
DE
FUSIBLES
O
EMPALMES ANTES
DE
INSTALAR
EL
TRANSFORMADOR.
Localice
una
caja
de
empalmes
cerda
de la
instalacion
de la
campanilla.
Quite
la
cubierta
de la
caja
de
empalmes
y
abra
uno de los
agujeros
en la
caja.
No
instale
el
transformador
en el
atico.
Pase
los
cables
del
transformador
por el
agujero
e
instale
el
transformador
a la
caja
de
empalmes
con la
contratuerca.
Conecte
el
cable negro
de la
corriente electrica
de
120VAC
a uno de los
cables
negros
del
transformador
con una
tuerca. Conecte
el
cable bianco
del
transformador
al
cable bianco
de la
corriente electrica.
Conecte
el
cable verde
del
transformador
al
cable pelado
de
cobre
(tierra)
de la
corriente electrica.
Compruebe
las
conexiones
y
ponga
la
tapa.
Conecte
los
cables
de
bajo voltaje
de la
campanilla
a las
terminales
de
rosca
del
transformador
segun
las
instrucciones
en el
manual
de la
campanilla.
