On handling Disc
Avoid touching the surface (bright side) where data is stored.
Do not place such things as paper on playable side
Be careful not to make scribble or scratch on back of
playable side (side with writing).
Disc Cleaning -1
Avoid cleaning the disc surface. If necessary, clean the
disc surface with a soft cloth following the directions
described.
Disc Cleaning -2
Avoid using chemicals to clean the surface.

Should any problem continue after you have checked these symptoms,
contact your nearest iRiver Customer Support department.
Trouble Solution
Audio files do not
play properly.
Either no sound
is heard or
defects are heard.
Check whether VOLUME is set to “0”.
Connect the earphone/remote plug firmly.
Check whether the plug is dirty (clean the plug with a dry and soft
cloth).
Corrupted MP3 or WMA file may have distortion or not play.
Try playing another music file.
Excessive jolting may affect MP3, WMA, and audio CD disks during
playback.
Unrecognized
characters are
displayed while
playing AVI files.
Please, check if language setting has been set correctly in the
menu.
Batteries do not
charge.
Is the adapter correctly plugged in?
Fully charged rechargeable battery will not accept additional charge.
Picture files does
not display.
The image not adhering to product specification may not display.
Please, check the specification.
LCD screen shuts
off during
playback.
To conserve battery power, the LCD screen will dim while playing
audio files. The amount of time the screen remains on may be set in
the menu.
