EN WARNING GENERAL • • • • • • • • • • • • • 2 This product comes with a region approved power supply cord and is designed to be plugged into a standard household AC power outlet only.
• Before running your robot on carpets or rugs, ensure that the carpets or rugs are compatible with the dual multi-surface rubber brushes on your robot, otherwise known as beater bars. Using your robot on a carpet or rug that is not compatible could result in damage to your carpet or rug. Contact your carpet or rug manufacturer with questions on compatibility.
• Keep the battery pack clean and dry. Wipe the cell/battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty. • Battery usage by children should be supervised. Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or a battery has been swallowed. CAUTION EN NOTICE • • The battery pack must be removed from the robot before recycling or disposal. To access the battery for recycling or disposal, loosen the two screws. Remove the battery compartment cover and unplug the battery cable.
Getting started 1 Position the Charging dock 2 Plug in the Charging dock EN Good Wi-Fi® Coverage 1.5 ft (0.5 m) both sides 4 ft (1.2 m) from stairs 4 ft (1.2 m) in front Plug the power cord into the Charging dock, then into the wall. Wrap the cord back so it won’t get in the way of the robot as it comes and goes. 3 Install the Edge Sweeping Brush Align the Edge Sweeping Brush and press down until you hear a click. NOTE: Position your Charging dock on hard surface flooring.

Charging Power icon indicator while charging Solid white: fully charged Pulsing white: charging EN NOTE: Your robot comes with a partial charge, but we recommend that you charge the robot for 4 hours prior to starting the first cleaning job. 8 For more information, visit global.irobot.com Place the robot on the Charging dock to activate the battery. If your robot needs to recharge mid-clean, the cleaning job will be canceled and it will return to its Charging dock.
Cleaning Press CLEAN on your robot Tap to Start / Pause / Resume Hold for 2-5 seconds to end a job Vacuuming 1 Empty the robot tank and detach the mopping pad plate and mopping pad before starting a vacuum job. EN CLEANING PATTERN: Your robot will automatically explore and clean your home in neat rows. It will return to the charging station at the end of a cleaning job and whenever it needs to recharge. Remove excess clutter from floors before cleaning.
Vacuuming & Mopping EN Your robot is able to both vacuum and mop at the same time when the mopping pad plate and mopping pad is installed. 2 Remove pad plate from bin. 5 Lightly dampen mopping pad and attach to pad plate. 6 7 Fill tank with water. Before starting a vacuum and mop job, prepare the room by rolling up / removing any carpets in the area you want to mop. NOTE: When the robot is operating with the mopping attachment, spot clean will not be available.
Care and maintenance for your robot To keep your robot at optimal performance, make sure you periodically perform the following basic care & maintenance. There are additional instructional videos in the iRobot Home App. If you notice the robot picking up less debris from your floor, empty the bin, clean the filter, and clean the brushes.
Cleaning the filter EN 1 Remove the bin. Open bin door and remove filter. 2 Remove debris with cleaning brush. 3 Reinsert filter and place bin back in the robot. 12 For more information, visit global.irobot.com NOTE: The filter can be rinsed with water. Make sure it is completely dry before reinstalling. Frequent rinses are not recommended. Cleaning the charging contacts and sensors Wipe charging contacts and sensors with a clean, dry cloth.
Cleaning the Edge-Sweeping Brush Pull to remove the Edge-Sweeping Brush. Remove any hair or debris using the cleaning brush, then reinstall by aligning the brush and pushing down until you hear a click.
Cleaning the front caster wheel EN Use the cleaning brush to remove hair and debris from the front caster wheel. IMPORTANT: A front wheel clogged with hair and debris could result in damage to your floor. If the wheel is not spinning freely after you have cleaned it, please contact Customer Care. 14 For more information, visit global.irobot.com Cleaning the mopping pad Thoroughly hand wash the mopping pad with cold water and let it air dry.
Troubleshooting your robot Your robot will tell you something is wrong by playing an audio alert and turning the power icon light indicator red. Press the CLEAN button for details. Check the iRobot Home App for further support. BATTERY SAFETY & SHIPPING Red power icon light indicator • • Low battery. Please charge. If you are unsure if the robot is finished or paused, consult the iRobot Home App to check on its status.
