Assembly Instructions
NOTE: As a precaution, block wheels to prevent movement of log splitter while torqueing lug nuts.
Step 1 – Wheels to Hubs
• Remove lug nuts from studs
• Slide tire onto hub with valve stem facing out.
• Thread nuts onto studs until hand tight. Tighten the lug nuts in stages.
Follow the sequence listed:
• Torque nuts to: 1
st
Stage: 20-25 ft.-lbs., 2
nd
Stage: 35-40 ft.-lbs., 3
rd
Stage: *60-75 ft.-lbs. * Verify final torque based on wheel type and
wheel manufacture recommendations.
• Repeat steps for other side.
Tools Needed
• 13/16” Socket
• Ratchet
• Torque Wrench
