Do not operate puller with less than 3 wraps of cable on the spindle.
Before Each Use
Inspect the rope regularly. Check for frays, kinks, broken stands, or distortion. If they appear, the rope
should be replaced.
Operating Instructions
WARNING
Do not pull the rope over or around a corner. Do not wrap the rope around any object and hook it back
on itself. Be aware of how much load you are pulling. Do not overload. Never use a “cheater” pipe or
other device to lengthen the handle for additional leverage. This will cause it to bend or break thereby
destroying the tool.
To Extend the Rope
1. Secure the hooks and pulley to a rigid anchor. Depress the switch of the drive pawl in the position
shown in position A (below).
2. Press the stop pawl in the direction of the arrow in position B (below).
3. At the same time, pull the rope until the desired slack is obtained.
To Raise a Load or Apply Tension
1. Engage the drive pawl and the ratchet wheel (position A, below).
2. Operate the handle in the direction of the arrow (positon B, below). Each stroke of the handle will
wind the rope to pull the load.
