Intended Use The Ironton 50 Ft. String Lights feature 5 lamp holders with plastic lamp guards spaced 10 feet apart on a single 125V, 15 Amp, 14/3 cord with a grounded plug. The lights provide an even string of bright lighting. The plug MUST be plugged into a matching receptacle that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with ALL local codes and ordinances. DO NOT MODIFY THE PROVIDED PLUG.
Extension Cords ⚠WARNING USE A PROPER EXTENSION CORD. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage, resulting in loss of power and cause overheating. Be sure your extension cord is properly wired and in good condition. Always replace a damaged extension cord or have it repaired by a qualified person before using it.

Make sure the power is turned off. There is a risk of accidental starting, resulting in serious personal injury. Deviation from the assembly instructions may result in a risk of fire or electric shock. The light string must be supported every 10 feet. Do not use the conductors to support the light set.

Insert the light bulb (not included) into the socket. Close the light guard. After Each Use ⚠WARNING Unplug and allow to cool before replacing bulb. Bulb gets HOT quickly! Only contact On/Off Button/Plug when turning on. Do not touch hot lens, guard, or enclosure. Do not remain close to the light if skin feels warm. Do not look directly at lighted lamp. Do not touch the bulb with bare hands.
Daily before operating Inspect the general condition of the light. Check for: loose hardware, damaged cord/electrical wiring, cracked or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. After each use Allow light set to cool and then wipe external surfaces of the light set with a clean cloth. Troubleshooting ⚠WARNING Do not modify the work light in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or safety and could affect the life of the equipment.
