HSS Cobalt designed for

COBALT ALLOYED
Drill bit body manufactured from high quality HSS steel
containing 5% Cobalt (Co).
The added 5% Cobalt improves the red hardness (heat
resistance) of the drill bit and results in significantly extended life.
SURFACE FINISH
Attractive golden
tempered surface
• 5% Cobalt for higher heat and abrasion resistance.
• Heavy-duty web construction for strength and durability.
• 135° split point begins drilling immediately, minimizing bit “walk”.
• Manufactured to DIN 338 Standards.
Applications:
Tough metal drilling, including heavy-duty abrasive alloy metal drilling
on hardened steel (heat-treated).
