IMPORTANT FORD APPLICATION INFORMATION
*Dip Switch Settings: Please See Product Instructions for Dip Switch Configuration Settings
PXDP: Not compatible with any factory external audio source such as: XM tuner, CD changer, or Cassette player. These devices must be disconnected during the installation and will no longer function. GM vehicles 1998 – 2004 not equipped with a factory slave may not be
able to support an external device. Therefore the PXDP may not be compatible. If you are an experienced installer, you can retain XM. Please follow this link to the Tech Brief to retain XM: http://peripheralelectronics.com/web/tech_dept.asp. 1995-1999 Radios with built in
CD player (Except Corvette) are NOT compatible because they do not have CD changer control functions.
PXDP: Not compatible with any factory external audio source such as: XM tuner, CD changer, or Cassette player. These devices must be disconnected during the installation and will no longer function. Not compatible with factory radios with built-in 6-disc CD changers.
Compatible with factory navigation radios.
IMPORTANT GMC APPLICATION INFORMATION
PXDP2: Not compatible with Factory Satellite or Rear Seat Entertainment systems, they must be disconnected for the PXDP2 to operate correctly. Radio must be MP3 compatible, this will be indicated on the face of the radio. Compatible with factory navigation radios. ALL
2008 Models are NOT Compatible with the PXDP2. 250 and F-350: Compatible with factory radios that respond with the text "NO AUX AUDIO" when the Aux button on the factory radio pushed before the interface is installed. If the text displays "NO AUX" the PXDP2 is not
compatible.
*Dip Switch Settings: Please See Product Instructions for Dip Switch Configuration Settings
PXDP3: PXH3GM1 is for vehicles without XM, connects to the back of the factory radio. PXH3GM1X harness retains XM and connects to the XM tuner. Non-Navigation radios must have a “CAT” button on the faceplate. Compatible with navigation radios for the applicable
vehicles listed above. Compatible with existing factory CD changer. Not Compatible with 2008 GM vehicles.
PXAMG: Not compatible with SYNC.
PXDPGMT: Radios must be equipped with the "BAND" button and be SAT radio ready. Factory radio must have a CD player and/or tape player. PXHGMTCD harness is required to retain factory CD Changer. PXHGMT harness is for vehicles without XM installed is installed
behind the factory radio. PXHGMTX harness retains XM and is installed at the XM tuner. Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) will need to be disconnected in order for the PXDPGMT to work properly.
