Emulation
The DVD/MP3 mode
of
emulation should only be used on navigation radios that are
equipped with factory satellite radio and with a r
ear
seat entertainment system.
The CDC/MP3 mode
of
emulation should only
be
used on navigation radios that are
equipped with factory satellite radio but not with a rear seat entertainment system.

Operation
Selecting the Mode
Press the "CD" button to switch to DVD
or
CDC MP3 mode and access the Media
GateWay.
If
a factory CD Changer is built into the radio, the CD button
may
need to
be
pressed twice to access the Media GateWay.
Browsing Playlists/Artist/Aibum/Song
Press the folder list icon in the top right corner to access the browsing screen. Here
you will see 6 accessible folders labeled Playlist, Artist, Album, Songs,
Aux
1 and
Aux 2. Press the icon you wish to browse by or use the Folder up/down arrows on the
nav screen to highlight your choice.

the iPod.
Now press the File icon under the Folder icon on the left side
of
the screen. Once
in
the File screen make your next choice by pressing the icon that corresponds with the
Album, Artist or Playlist you wish to hear.
You
can scroll through all
of
the choices
by
using the up/down arrows on the left
of
the screen. Once you make your selection
here, the first song in that list will begin playing.
The first option
in
the Playlist, Artist
or
Album folder will
be
"Currenf'. This is in place
to a
ll
ow
what is currently playing to keep playing until you make your final selection.
Pressing this icon will not
do
anything.
Whenever the Songs folder is selected it will automatically start playing all
of
the
songs on your iPod
in
alphabetical order and it is not necessary to press the "File"
icon unless you want to browse to a specific song. (the maximum number
of
songs
supported is 999)
If
you have selected Playlist, Artist
or
Album you cannot view a
li
st
of
the songs within
these selections, Only lists
of
the Playlist, Artists
or
Albums.
