CAUTION: Do not let the water filter freeze, to prevent cracking of
the filter or water leakage.
NOTE:
Flush the filter for 5 seconds before use every day.
Flush the filter for 30 seconds before use if it has not been
used for more than two days.
Flush the filter for 60 seconds before use if it has not been
used for more than two weeks.
It is important to replace filter cartridges on schedule.
Changes in taste, odor, color, and flow of the water being
filtered indicate that the cartridge needs to be replaced. It’s
recommended to mark your calendar and change the
cartridge when the date is up.

Installation
Step 1 Remove original aerator from the sink faucet (Fig. 1). Save
the O-ring as it may be needed for the installation.
Step 2 Determine the type of threads on your faucet:
External threads: No adapters should be needed. Proceed to Step 3
Internal threads: Select ONE proper thread adapter with washer and
screw into faucet. Tighten it up by hand only (Fig. 2). If necessary,
wrap a rubber band on it for a better grip.
NOTE: Adapters are included which shall fit most faucets. To create
a tight seal, you may need to use the O-ring from your faucet’s
aerator in addition to the washers included with the adapters. If the
adapters do not fit, please consult your local plumbing or hardware
supplier for assistance in obtaining the correct thread adapter.
