DTC P0464 – Fuel Level Sensor Noisy Signal

1 Was the “On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check”

2 1. Ignition “Off”, Engine “Off”.
2. Perform “Visual/Physical Check” for following
points.
B Lose harness connector
B Clacked harness connector
B Poor wire condition
B Fuel tank condition
B Poor sensor condition
3. If a problem is found, repair as necessary.
Was a problem found?
Verify repair Go to
Step 3
3 1. Disassemble fuel tank on the vehicle.
2. Check the below items.
B Fuel sender

Go to
Step 5
4 Replace the Fuel sender.
Was the action complete?
Verify repair Go to
Step 5
5 Replace the PCM.
IMPORTANT: The replacement PCM must be
programmed. Refer to
On-Vehicle Service
in
Powertrain Control Module and Sensors
for
procedures.
And also refer to latest Service Bulletin.
Check to see if the Latest software is released or not.
And then Down Load the LATEST PROGRAMMED
SOFTWARE to the replacement PCM.
