Caution: Verifying the Cellular 500W Pit Module operation requires an
FC300SR handheld computer or Itron Mobile Radio running FDM 4.0 or higher.
Legacy Itron handheld programming devices cannot read the pit modules.
Each handheld radio requires special setup and configuration parameters to successfully read
and program the pit module. Refer to the respective meter reading application for specific
instructions.
When comparing the actual register value to that reported by the pit module, keep in mind the
Cellular 500W Pit Module's consumption value is updated once an hour when it is in Run
Mode.
